The first and last registering experience

So, I decided to take Nate to Macy's to finish up our registry. I had already been over Christmas break to start on a "couple of things" Nate was all up for the idea, but when the sales clerk printed up my 4ft long registry receipt, Nate decided it would be better to strangle himself with it instead of adding more to it. Needless to say, our trip at Macy's was a very short one.

So, here we are, the soon to be Alexander Family! Yes! Finally! For those of you that are wondering what's been going on, and what will GO on, here's the basic outline.
I currently work at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort on O'ahu. I'm a manager in training currently in the Events Department. I'll be switching to the Food and Beverage department shortly (after the wedding) and then to Front of the house operations after that. It's been a growing and learning experience in so many ways, and I feel so fortunate to be there. With multiple corporate luncheons a couple weddings here and there, 2 High school proms and Chinese New Year celebrations, I feel like I've almost gotten it all, but know that there is SO much more to come!

Nate finishes school at BYU Hawaii in International Business Management at the end of April. He's pretty much a finance genius in my eyes (he would probably beg to differ) and is planning on getting some work experience in the finance world before getting his masters. We're open to wherever that experience may be...Honolulu, west coast, or east coast(which is what we're hoping for). He's constantly keeping me on my toes with what's new on Wall Street, and the bounteous supply of financial opportunities. I'm quite proud to call him mine.

We get married May 3rd in the San Diego temple at 12:00pm. We then jump on a cruise ship to Mexico on a nice little 7 day honey moon. We most likely will then come back here to Honolulu and finish my program, unless the Lord sees otherwise!

As of now, that's the small outline. We're good and happy, stealing a beach day in every now and then. Hawaii is a beautiful place to be with some one you love...or maybe it's just always a beautiful place when you're with the one you love :) May 3rd couldn't come any sooner!!!

Here I am!

Aloha! I finally got on the band wagon and created a blog. I'll try to keep you all as posted as I possibly can. Be patient with me as I try to figure this thing out :)
